COMING APRIL 10th 2021

2021 Virtual Exhibitor Package

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Rockland Astronomy Club is conducting an online NEAF The Virtual Experience in April and rescheduling the regular NEAF event at Rockland Community College for later this year. Paid attendees and exhibitors can participate in the online event scheduled for April 4th. This VIP online event is free for pre-registered exhibitors and attendees.

What Can Be Expected from NEAF The Virtual Experience?

You will experience much of what is offered at the annual event held at Rockland Community College through streaming video: World-Class Speakers; A Large Gathering of Astronomy Gear Manufacturers and Major Retailers Giving Demonstrations, Answering Your Questions, and Offering Amazing Deals.

Why Participate as an Exhibitor in NEAF The Virtual Experience?

Manufacturers historically offer incredible deals during the NEAF event, which drives business to take advantage of the summer astronomy season. With NEAF The Virtual Experience, attendees will still be able to enjoy these offerings at a time when many will be at home with the probability of enjoying more screen time. Of course, amateur astronomers will be looking to the NEAF online event to learn what is new in the industry.

What will it Cost for Exhibitors and Attendees Who Have Already Registered?

Those who have already registered and paid can attend NEAF The Virtual Experience for free and attend the RCC NEAF Event when it is held later this year.

What will it Cost for Those Who Have Not Already Registered?

There will be the option to register for NEAF The Virtual Experience only, or to register for both the online event and the RCC event. If you are a vendor and have not already registered for NEAF, the cost to participate in the Virtual experience is only $250 for a day-long pass. If you wish to purchase a booth for the postponed show (tentatively scheduled for Sept) participation in the Virtual event is included free.

How to Access

NEAF The Virtual Experience?

The portal to this event will be located on the front page of the NEAF website.

All vendors who are currently registered for NEAF or sign up for this special event will receive a special code to access the portal.

How to Participate as an Exhibitor in NEAF The Virtual Experience?

Registered exhibitors will need to provide us with digital media to a Dropbox Account that will be set up and shared with you. Details on image sizes and video length will follow. Plan on your videos being 3 to 5 min in length and advertising your products while directing viewers to click into your website where the sales will take place. Prepare your website landing page to sell the promotions you will be advertising in your video.

More information will follow as the details of the Virtual Experience are available.
